Hanna Ott: Cyanotypes 2008-2012

Cyanotype is an alternative historic photographic printing process. The blue colour is a chemical reaction based on the ironsalts in the coating solution, when exposed to sunlight and rinsed with pure water. The pictures are taken by a approximately 100 years old classic 18 x 24 large format view camera with wooden corpus and brass lens.
